Citrix Workspace Install and Access

INSTALL

1. Go to this link and click the “Download Citrix Workspace App”.

2. The install file will download and either show a pop up inside of the browser or in your downloads folder. Click that file to begin the install.

3. Once the install begins just follow the prompts. Below are the current selections but can change. 

a. Click “Start”

b. Check the “I accept the license agreement” box and then click “Next”.

c. Click “Install” and then give it a few minutes to install.

d. After it shows Installation Successful click “Finish”. You Do Not need to add an account here to access Allscripts.

External Access

4. Go to the following link to access the external version of Citrix / Allscripts EMR. After the above Citrix is installed, this will be the step you repeat daily.

5. Your login will be your standard ETSU email username and password. 

6. Once logged into Citrix you will need to select “Touchworks EHR Live”. A Chrome session will launch, and you will be able to use the Allscripts EMR. 

INSTALL

1. Installing Citrix Workspace on Mac is a bit more tricky than then on a Windows machine. First step to this is that you will need to know what version of MacOSX your device is running. This can be done by clicking the Apple symbol at the top left and then “About This Mac”. This will display a pop up with the MacOS name and the version number.

2. Below is the link for the latest version of Citrix. However, you will need to see if this version is compatible with your device. On the download page it is going to show you a compatibility list of what devices it will install on. Take the version number from step 1 and compare it to the list. If your Mac is up to date with the latest software this download link should work.

3. If the above version of Citrix Workspace is not compatible you will need to find an earlier version that is. Below is the link for the earlier versions. You will need to scroll down to the “Workspace app for Mac” section. Then expand the arrow and select “Earlier Versions of Workspace app for Mac”. This is where it gets tricky you will need to click on different versions and find the one that is compatible with your device version from step 1.

4. The install file will download and either show a pop up inside of the browser or in your downloads folder. Click that file to begin the install.

5. It will pop up and ask if you would like to Install or Uninstall Citrix Workspace. You will want to click “Install Citrix Workspace”.

6. Once the install begins just follow the prompts. Below are the current selections but can change. 

a. Click “Continue”

b. “Continue” again

c. Then “Agree”

d. Click “Install” and then give it a few minutes to install.

e. You Do Not need to add an account here to access Allscripts.

f. Once installation is successful click “Close”

External Access

7. Go to the following link to access the external version of Citrix / Allscripts EHR. After the above Citrix is installed, this will be the step you repeat daily.
